Technical Advisory Group

The ECAAS Technical Advisory Group works to identify major technical challenges and opportunities in advancing crop analytics for smallholder farmers and provides input and guidance on technical requirements and priority areas for innovation including data capture, standards, privacy and ownership, and sharing and interoperability. The Technical Advisory Group contributes to technical reports, position papers, and other technical outputs to ensure rigor and relevance. We have not yet formed specific working groups dedicated to each technical area, but plan to do so in the future.

Are you interested in contributing to the ECAAS Technical Advisory Group? We are looking for new members who meet the following criteria:

Actively engaged in ground truth data collection, hosting, sharing, or analytic development and application with an emphasis on smallholder farming systems.
Should have deep technical expertise and networks in a given issue area.
Willing to champion specific activities or research agenda items.
