The ECAAS initiative is leveraging a network-based approach to help realize the potential of remote sensing to sustainably improve smallholder livelihoods at scale. We operate within the ecosystem of private, public, and civil society actors already working at the intersection of crop analytics and smallholder production to catalyze technologies, processes, and partnerships that improve the collection, processing, storage, sharing, and use of ground-truth data required by real use cases. Our approach is demand-driven and based upon the opportunities and challenges articulated by this community of stakeholders.
